The Story

Simulated Process Screen Printing for a Vibrant, Detailed Design

For this project, the design featured the iconic Boston Celtics colors with intricate detailing. We used simulated process screen printing, a technique perfect for high-color artwork on dark garments. The design required 8 colors, including multiple shades of yellow, green, tan, white, gray, and gold. By blending plastisol inks, we achieved a vibrant and accurate reproduction of the artwork.

We separated the design into various color channels, using half-tones to simulate a full-color print. This allowed for a detailed and smooth gradient effect that really made the design stand out on the black LA Apparel 1801GD t-shirts.

We chose the LA Apparel 1801GD t-shirt in black for its heavyweight durability and soft feel, ideal for both printing and wearing. Our plastisol inks ensured the colors would pop while providing long-lasting durability. Plastisol inks are known for their versatility, vibrant colors, and ability to adhere well to cotton garments, making them perfect for this type of project.

Custom Screen-Printed Neck Tags and Retail Finishing

Our client also requested custom screen-printed neck tags to give the t-shirts a premium, retail-ready finish. We offer this service to elevate your brand and make each piece feel unique. Additionally, we provided retail finishing services, which included folding, tagging, and packaging the t-shirts to create a professional, retail-ready product.

Rush Production: Meeting Tight Deadlines

With just two business days to complete the job, we had to act fast without compromising on quality. We ramped up production to ensure the t-shirts were ready on time. Our team worked efficiently to print, dry, and prepare all 350 t-shirts to meet the client’s deadline.

Using our M&R Challenger 3 16/18 automatic screen printing press, we could meet the large order within the tight deadline.
