Is Jumbo the same as All Over Screen Printing?

No, Jumbo Screen Printing and All Over Screen Printing are not the same, but though they are related. Here's how they differ:

  • Jumbo Screen Printing typically refers to using larger than standard screens to create bigger prints on garments. 
  • All Over Screen Printing, on the other hand, involves printing across the entire surface of the garment, including the seams, sleeves, and edges. 

In summary, while both methods involve larger prints, the key difference lies in the extent of coverage. Jumbo screen printing offers larger prints within the front and back of the garment whereas all-over screen printing covers the entire garment including the sleeves.

      What types of fabrics can you print jumbo?

      Jumbo Screen Printing can be applied to a wide range of materials including cotton, polyester, blends, and more.

      Can jumbo screen printing go over seams?

      Absolutely. But, keep in mind, whenever you have a raised surface like a seam or a zipper, then the ink around that area will be slightly distorted. 

      It's just part of the process and some customer's love the result. But, if you are looking for a perfect print then this may not be the technique for you. 

      Please schedule a meeting with our sales team to review your artwork, so they can disclose the areas that will be distorted.

      What is your minimum order?

      Our minimum order is 50 units, but you can mix sizes and colors of garments within this 50 as long as the design stays the same.

      In other words, include smalls, mediums, larges, etc. as well as various colors of garments within the order at no additional charge.

      How does the cost of jumbo screen printing compare to standard screen printing?

      This process is slightly more expensive due to the additional labor and higher material costs required to achieve this premium look.

      Our team works closely with you to understand your budget and goals, offering suggestions to help you meet your price point. For example, common suggestions include reducing the number of ink colors, increasing your order quantity, choosing an affordable garment, or reducing the print locations.
