Combining Screen Printing and Direct-to-Film Transfers

The Disneyland-themed design required multiple print locations, each with unique sizing and placement challenges. Here’s how we combined techniques to get the job done:

• Screen Printed Front and Back Logo: The main front logo and the centered back logo were screen printed for a vibrant, durable finish that withstands regular wear.
• Shoulder-to-Shoulder DTF Transfer: To achieve the shoulder-to-shoulder print that spans across 27 inches, we used a direct-to-film transfer. This technique was selected because our jumbo screen printing maxes out at 17” x 23”, and DTF allowed us to expand beyond that, capturing the full width of the design with crisp clarity and high durability.

This combination of techniques allowed us to print across multiple areas of the hoodie without compromising on design integrity or detail, giving La Quinta High School the large-format look they envisioned.
