Custom Hat Embroidery on Ottocap Style 32-285 Caps

We were recently asked by Money Bags Clothing for custom hat embroidery on 150 OttoCap truckers with their artwork on the front and their brand name on the side. We used our shiny Poly Neon embroidery threads to ensure that the design really “popped”. These hats are unisex, comfortable, and will last years without fading!

Our Process:

First, we digitized the artwork that Money Bags Clothing provided us. Next, we created a sample before production hat to make sure that they were happy with the way that the design looked. Once they approved the sample, we went ahead and embroidered all 150 hats. The entire process took just two weeks from start to finish!

Money Bags Clothing was extremely happy with the final product and sold out so quick that we have already produced 100 additional.

Savings tip:

Keep in mind that with every new custom hat embroidery order there will be digitizing costs. These costs our outlined in our blog post “screen printing and embroidery artwork guidelines” post. But, on re-orders, these costs do not apply since we’ll have the files in our system. Therefore, send us artwork that you will see yourself using for custom hat embroidery orders time and time again. 

These Ottocap Style 32-285 caps are great for clothing brands since they come in various colors, have strong inventory year round, and embroider great. 

Best of all, they are re-sale friendly which means you’ll have high margins for resale. A typical order between 50 – 100 units will be in the $13 – $15 range. Our clothing brands are selling their custom embroidery hats for anywhere between $30 – $65. 

The most common hat colors are black, red, blue, forest green, and navy. This hat shown has a mesh back, but we can also supply OttoCap style 31-069 which is a non-mesh back version.
